Monitor usage

The usage dashboard shows how your workspace uses Dash: how many conversations, how many messages, how many credits, and what it costs. Use it to spot trends, identify heavy users, and make sure you’re getting value from the tools you’ve connected.

  • Sessions — each conversation thread counts as a session, whether in Slack, Teams, the web, or the Chrome extension.
  • Messages — the total number of messages exchanged (your messages in, Dash’s responses out).
  • Credits — the credits consumed by the AI model and any SMS/Text delivery. Model usage is the primary cost driver and depends on the model, conversation length, and tools used. SMS delivery is priced by message length and destination country, so longer texts cost more.
  • Cost — what the workspace has spent this billing period, broken down by run type.

From Slack or Teams:

@Dash how much have we used this month?

@Dash show me the usage stats for the last 7 days

@Dash show me usage trends for the last 12 weeks

@Dash who’s using Dash the most?

Dash can break usage down week by week so you can spot adoption trends, and rank team members by activity. Per-member credit figures are visible to admins only.

From the web dashboard:

Go to app.dashpup.ai and open the Usage page. It’s available to workspace admins. Pick a window (last 7, 30, or 90 days) at the top. The Overview tab shows:

  • Total spend and Burn (average credits per day) for the window.
  • A Credit usage chart of daily spend, split between threads (conversations and Heartbeat suggestions) and tasks (scheduled runs).
  • Top users, Top tasks, Top skills, and Top integrations, each with a link to the full list.

The other tabs go deeper: Team (credits per person), Tasks (credits per recurring task), Conversations (every conversation and run, filterable by person, task, or type), Skills (how often each skill loads, and the credits in turns that used it), and Integrations.

On the Skills tab, the Credits in turns using it column adds up the credits of every turn a skill was loaded in. A turn’s cost covers the whole conversation, not just the skill, so treat it as a guide to which skills show up in expensive work, not an exact price per skill.

The Integrations tab lists every connected tool with its call count and estimated credits spent, ordered by cost. Credits per tool are a fair-share estimate: Dash can’t price a single tool call, so each session’s credits are split across the tools it used based on call frequency.

For your credit balance, transaction history, and plan details, see the Billing page.

Non-billable runs never count toward your spend limit or appear on your invoice.

On the Sessions page in the web dashboard, you can open any past conversation to see what Dash did: the messages exchanged, which tools were called, what was produced, and how many credits it consumed.

Private conversations, like DMs, 1:1 web chats, and private channels, are listed by title, but only the person who had the conversation can see its messages.
