Email Dash
Your workspace has its own Dash email address. Email Dash from the address you sign in with, and it works on your request just like it does in chat.
Find Dash’s address
Section titled “Find Dash’s address”Open app.dashpup.ai and click Email Dash in the sidebar. The dialog shows your workspace’s Dash address, with a Copy button, and a short guide to how email works. The address also appears in Settings under Business profile.
You can also ask Dash for it in chat, for example “What’s your email address?” Dash replies with the current address and a short how-to. It doesn’t share the address in a conversation that may include people from outside your workspace.
Admins can click Regenerate address on the Business profile page to get a new address. The old one stops working right away, so share the new one with your team.
Email or forward to Dash
Section titled “Email or forward to Dash”Put Dash in To, or forward it a message with what you need. Dash replies to everyone on the thread.
Can you summarize this thread and list who owes what by Friday?
Cc Dash
Section titled “Cc Dash”Dash reads along quietly and keeps the thread as context. It only replies when you mention Dash by name in your message.
Bcc Dash
Section titled “Bcc Dash”Dash reads along but never replies, so it stays hidden from the other recipients.
What Dash ignores
Section titled “What Dash ignores”Email from people outside your workspace, auto-replies, newsletters and mailing lists.
If people from outside your workspace are on a thread, Dash follows your workspace’s settings for external conversations, which can limit or stop its replies.
Approvals by email
Section titled “Approvals by email”Dash still asks before it acts. When a request needs approval, Dash ends its reply with a question like “Approve this? Reply YES or NO.” Reply YES to go ahead, or NO to cancel.
Attachments
Section titled “Attachments”Attach files to your email the same way you’d attach them in chat. Dash reads attachments on the emails it answers.
Check your spam folder
Section titled “Check your spam folder”Dash’s long replies can be tagged as spam. If a reply lands there, mark it as not spam and save Dash’s address as a contact, so future replies reach your inbox.
What’s next
Section titled “What’s next”- Upload files and images to see which files Dash can read.
